Oster & Associates Tapped to Provide Advertising for San Diego's First Express Toll Road
(SAN DIEGO - April 27, 2005) - California Transportation Ventures, Inc. (CTV), the private company financing and developing the new State Route 125 South Toll Road in the South Bay, today announced its selection of local firm Oster & Associates to provide advertising and design services for the highly anticipated SR 125 South toll road, opening in early 2007. Oster joins marketing consultant Frank Wilson & Associates and public relations firm Porter Novelli.
The new 10-mile express toll road will extend from SR 54 in Spring Valley, through eastern Chula Vista, to SR 905 in Otay Mesa near the International Border. This new connection will give drivers convenient access to Sorrento Valley, Santee, Otay Mesa, I-8 and I-15, Mexico and promises a fast, reliable, scenic commute. The four-lane toll road will utilize cutting edge technologies, including FasTrak™, an electronic toll collection system that allows customers to bypass toll plazas at normal highway speeds - no stopping necessary.
Led by seasoned executive and advertising legend Bev Oster, the Oster & Associates project team for SR 125 South includes Ben Duarte, Creative Director, Cheryl Harper, Director of Account Services and Barbara Howington, Account Manager.
